Phase One of the Bryan Elkhorn Campus will feature two medical office buildings, totaling approximately 137,000 square feet, designed to accommodate a broad range of outpatient healthcare services beginning in the spring of 2027. Services will include primary care, specialty physician practices, diagnostic imaging and additional outpatient offerings. MIPPA will also open and own an Urgent Care Center on the new Bryan Elkhorn Campus.
“Collaborating with physicians and communities is core to our mission, so a couple of years ago when MIPPA invited us to discuss ways to meet healthcare needs in a rapidly growing part of the Omaha Metro, we listened,” said John Woodrich, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Bryan Health. “We quickly found that the MIPPA physicians, and other interested specialists, all shared our spirit of collaboration, a focus on quality and a desire to improve access to convenient care.”
“While MIPPA remains its own entity, we are proud that some of our independent practices will be among the first to join this new campus and are pleased to collaborate with Bryan Health. Their presence underscores our mission to keep independent practices independent, while also giving patients access to expanded resources and comprehensive care. Patients will benefit from greater access to care, a wide range of services, and a modern, welcoming outpatient environment,” said Stephen H. Williams, MD, president, Midwest Independent Physicians Practice Association.
MIPPA and Bryan Health are partnering with Goldenrod Companies, an Omaha-based commercial real estate developer with experience in creating innovative, patient-centered facilities. Goldenrod has a proven track record and a demonstrated commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure across the region.
“We are excited to play a part in bringing Bryan Health to the Omaha metro area to work with physicians who have served the metro well,” said Zach Wiegert, managing principal, Goldenrod Companies. “Through our collaboration with Bryan Health and MIPPA, the Bryan Elkhorn Campus will provide families with greater access to exceptional care, close to home.”
A groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction will take place on Tuesday, Oct.7 at 11 a.m. at the future site of the Bryan Elkhorn Campus.
