NorthStar, an after-school nonprofit serving boys in north Omaha, is expanding their campus to match the organization’s growth. The $6 million expansion to their existing facility includes a high school wing with classrooms, study rooms for college and career-readiness programming, an innovation hub for STEM education, robotics competitions, Outward Bound School programs, large group activity space, a dining hall and outdoor patio. NorthStar currently serves close to 200 boys in 3rd-12th grade each day. The expansion will allow for at least an additional 100 boys to be served.
