SIENA FRANCIS HOUSE

Construction is complete on a new $18 million shelter for the homeless at the Siena-Francis House campus. The new shelter replaces a worn-out, cramped shelter that is inadequate for the community’s needs. It has beds for 350 men and 100 women, kitchen, dining, case management, counseling and other service areas. The new shelter is north of the Baright Shelter on the Siena-Francis campus. The Siena Francis House is the largest homeless shelter in Nebraska serving over 431,000 meals and 3,400 individuals in 2018.
