Zac Marquess

President, Southeast Region

Mr. Marquess is the President of the Southeast Region for Goldenrod Companies. In this role, Marquess oversees the development, acquisitions, and performance of assets for the Southeastern Region of the United States, spanning Kansas to Georgia. Zac has led the execution of investment strategies for a multitude of asset classes including multifamily, office, industrial, senior housing, student housing, hospitality and more. Utilizing his operational experience, Mr. Marquess is able to effectively underwrite and project asset performance down to the minute level while understanding what makes a deal successful. Additionally, he has spearheaded large scale mixed-use development and acquisitions as well as public-private partnerships. He received undergraduate degrees in Finance, Economics, Banking, and Investment Science/Portfolio Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he was also a member of the men’s soccer team. He received his Master of Real Estate Development degree from Auburn University. Mr. Marquess holds a real estate license in the State of Georgia.
