Richardson High-Rise is Latest Buy by Omaha-Based Investor

Jan 31, 2024

Telecom Corridor tower is one of first office sales of 2024.

Goldenrods latest purchase is a 11-story high-rise office in Richardson's Telecom Corridor, just north of Collins Boulevard. The building is 85% leased to tenants including Dell, software company ARGO and chip firm Nexperia. The buildings tenants and the location of the building made this a very attractive buy for Goldenrod.

Goldenrod is going to spend some money on improvements, most of it will go towards capital improvements to the building. The tower also comes with 3.5 acres of adjacent property that is zoned for apartment construction. Goldenrods Southwest Regional President, John Zogg, said, "We are hiring an architect to work on that. We will add retail and open space to add to the experience of the office building."

This office acquisition was made with Reserve Capital Partners.

The Goldenrod team wishes the Aaron family congratulations on this significant day. We are very grateful for the lasting legacy that Hank Aaron created, and we thank the Aaron family and all those associated for their continued support of our project in outfield. We hope this special development, named “The Henry” in honor of Mr. Aaron, continues to pay tribute to all that he stood for on and off the field. “Keep swinging #44”

Our hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska, The Scarlet Hotel, inspired the U.S. Navy to name their staterooms in a similar manner. We had engaged the team at Archrival to write unique stories of nearly 150 Nebraska cities and towns. We shared these stories with the U.S. Navy, along with more than 2,000 photographs depicting each locale which were captured by students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Thank you to Dale and Roger from the Big Red Sub Club for presenting Zach with this memento.
